Barkan is a seasoned professional with a strong specialisation and background in the corporate banking sector (Denizbank, IDBT, BNP Paribas) where his responsibilities included financial modelling, preparation of investment proposals, financial structuring, developed information memorandum and company teasers and modelled the entire corporate finance process. Barkan has also advised private equity houses on mezzanine and structured finance deals.

Prior to joining Solution Barkan acted as the Turkish in-country investment banker to a Netherlands based M&A lead advisory boutique specialising in small and medium cap companies. Barkan has experience of both deal origination, buy-side and sell-side advisory and has a proven track record of M&A lead advisory excellence attested to by many successfully completed cross border transactions in sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, construction, media, real estate and mining.

With a BA in Economics and a postgraduate education in Finance, Barkan has an exceptional set of financial and economics skills in originating and structuring successful corporate finance assignments.
